George Christie has spent more than three decades working within and supporting the wine industry—and today he applies that experience to helping vineyard and winery owners navigate one of the most important decisions they will ever make: buying or selling their property.

George began his wine career in 1994 in Sonoma County and has since been involved in nearly every facet of the industry, from vineyard operations and grower relations to marketing strategy and brand development. As a partner in Saini Vineyards, he also brings firsthand experience with farming, land stewardship, and the economic realities of operating vineyard properties—perspective that meaningfully informs his work in real estate.

In 2009, George founded Wine Industry Network (WIN), which he continues to lead as President & CEO. Under his leadership, WIN has grown into one of the most trusted and influential B2B platforms in the wine industry, working with more than 600 suppliers and producing major industry events including WIN Expo and the Wine Industry Sales Symposium, as well as the editorial site, Wine Industry Advisor and the widely read Afternoon Brief.

This depth of experience gives George a uniquely informed understanding of vineyard and winery properties. He understands the operational complexity, regulatory considerations, market dynamics, and emotional significance of ownership, and he brings that perspective to every transaction. Whether representing a family winery preparing for transition, a grower realigning assets, or a buyer seeking strategic expansion, George combines real-world wine industry insight with the marketing strength and professionalism of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty.

Focused exclusively on vineyard and winery transactions, George is known for his discretion, thoughtful guidance, strong relationships, and commitment to helping clients achieve the best long-term outcome—not just the fastest transaction.
